Gladys Wickert's Obituary
Gladys Wickert, 94, of Wild Rose, joined her husband on Monday, October 10, 2016. Gladys was born on July 25, 1922, daughter of the late Gustav and Francis (Butzi) Musser.
Gladys was a long-standing member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and charter member of the Boston Terrier Club. Gladys was an amazing dancer, a great roller-skater, loved fishing and bowling, and was very creative-minded. She would also gladly volunteer her services to anyone in need.
Gladys is survived by: son Jeffrey (Mary M.) Wickert; daughters Jenneane Jackson and Joylyn (Fernando) Arellano; grandchildren Tiffany (James) Frinzi, Chimera Joy (Cory) Munn, Justin (Olivia) Jackson, Chelsy Rose (Travis) Peeler, Naythen Jackson, Rebecca (Nathan) Alexander, Elijah Arellano, Rachel (Luke) Parrish, Faith (Kyle) Maynard, Caleb Arellano, Josh Arellano, Elias Arellano, and Naomi Arellano; step-grandchildren Maggie Smoot, Elizabeth (Kevin) Tronnier, and Matthew Perkins; and 10 great-grandchildren. Gladys is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband Edgar; brother Harvey Musser; and sisters Bernice Dias and Pat Schell.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, October 28, 2016, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wild Rose, with Rev. William Meier officiating. Relatives and friends may visit the family from 11 AM until the time of service.
