Glen Erdman's Obituary
Glen G. Erdman, age 66, of Saxeville, WI, passed away Friday, October 7th, 2005 at his residence with his family around him. He was born in Borth, Wisconsin on September 5, 1939, the son of Paul and Virginia (Keil) Erdman. Glen married Mary Jorgensen on May 6, 1961 in Saxeville. He owned and operated the Glen Erdman Excavating Company for 27 years. Glen retired as Lt. Colonel from the Army National Guard after twenty-two years of service. He was past president of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Saxeville. He served on the Saxeville/Springwater Volunteer Fire Department. Glen was a member of the NRA and Moles Unlimited. His interests included: hunting, reading, gardening, landscaping and (putzing) around the house. Glen is survived by his Wife: Mary Erdman, Saxeville, WI; Daughter: Kelly Erdman, Saxeville, WI; Son: Keil (Arlene) Erdman, Oshkosh, WI; Granddaughters: Hannah, Emily, and Madalyn Erdman all of Oshkosh, WI; Sister: Karen Erdman, Berlin, WI. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 13, 2005 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Saxeville with Reverend Robert Hanson officiating. A private interment of the cremains will be held at a later date. A memorial visitation will be held 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. www.hollyfuneralhome.com
