Gordon Green's Obituary
Gordon J. Green, age 94, of Waupaca, WI., passed away on Thursday, June 24th, 2010 at Crystal House in Waupaca. He was born in the Town of Belmont, Portage Co., WI., on December 20, 1915, a son of the late James and Bertha (Darrow) Green. Gordon married Arlene D. Testin on August 19, 1939 at Parfreyville United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Crystal Lake Grange and had been very active at the Waupaca Senior Center. Gordon was a member of Crystal Lake United Methodist Church. Survivors include his Wife: Arlene Green, Waupaca, WI; Daughters: Geraldine (Dale) Guyant, Olympia, WA; Genevieve (Nyles) Eskritt, Waupaca, WI; Rhonda (David) Towne, Waupaca, WI; Son: Richard (Mary) Green, Tavares, FL; Daughter-In-law: Delayne Green, Waupaca, WI; 14 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Granddaughter; a Sister: Ellen Andrews, Stevens Point, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son - Roger, four brothers and one sister. Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 28th, with Pastor Jeffrey S. Fletcher & Reverend Barry Shaw, officiating. Interment will be in the Crystal Lake Cemetery, Town of Dayton, Waupaca Co. Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 3 until 5 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Monday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
