Gordon Larsen's Obituary
Gordon F. Larsen, age 85, of Waupaca, passed away on Sunday, October 1st, 2006 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. He was born in the Town of Dayton, Waupaca Co., WI., on February 13, 1921, a son of the late Gilbert and Lyrena (Fair) Larsen. He married Cleo Anderson on October 6, 1951 in Waupaca. She preceded him in death on April 12, 2000. Gordon had worked for Appleton Coated Papers, H.O. Wolding as a truck driver and at the Waupaca Foundry. He enjoyed hobby farming, attending his grandchildrens' baseball and softball games. He also liked working in the woods.. He is survived by 3 Sons: Roger (Barb) Larsen, Waupaca, WI; Steven (Janet) Larsen, Menomonee Falls, WI; Gary (Annette) Larsen, New Port Richey, FL; 5 Grandchildren: Melissa (Jon) Britton, Brooksville, FL; Brynna Larsen, Boston, MA; Dane Larsen, Waupaca, WI; Heidi Larsen, Menomonee Falls, WI; Jack Larsen, Menomonee Falls, WI; 2 Great Grandchildren: Bryce and Bailey Britton, Brooksville, FL; 2 Sisters: Harriet Peterson, Waupaca, WI; Betty (Leo) Scannell, Fond du Lac, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Cleo, 2 sons, Douglas and Dennis and a sister, Doris Johnson. Funeral Services will be held at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 7th, with Reverend Virgil Nulton officiating. Interment will be at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in the name of Gordon F. Larsen.
