In memory of Grant Sorensen
12.th of December, is the day where family and friends must say goodbye, to a loving, kind, proud, beloved, and great man.
Grant Sorensen is no longer with us.
Grant puts a long, hard working and laborious life behind him, as farmer, a life he dearly loved.
Even if he had passed the 90 years, and he didn't saw that well, he still drove his tractor in the fields. We have known Grant since we came to Wisconsin the year of 1976, and we will never forget the feeling of hospitality and friendship we met, and all the cozy hours, we have been joining the round table in the kitchen, drinking Grant's homemade wine, eating cheese an sausages , with the Danish flag in the middle of it all.
For many years, Grant were looking forward to his 100 years anniversary, and he asked several times, wheter we would come, for the celebration, He always commented it with the remark:" I am so happy you will come, but I am not sure I will be around".
Luckily , he came to celebrate the day with his beloved family, and we are so grateful, that Sonja and Marianne had the chance to visit him this August, celebrate him, and singing the Danish birthday song he knew from his childhood.
We will miss him dearly, and always keep the memory in our hearts, of a dear, dear cousin.
We are proud to be a part of the family in Lind Center.
All our thought will be with the family the 12. of December and in the future.
We honor and respect the memory of Grant.
Sonja , Finn and Marianne from Denmark
