Gregg Paul Davies' Obituary
Gregg Paul Davies, 77, of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, was reunited with his longtime spouse, Alice, on January 5th 2026. He passed peacefully in his sleep accompanied by his children.
Born in Wild Rose, Wisconsin, Gregg was known for his warm, kind spirit. His joyful presence and silly humor were trademarks of a life lived with joy and light. He brightened any room he entered, and his infectious happiness was uplifting. As a father, he was gentle, loving, and steadfast—always ready to help, quick to smile, and able to find the good in any situation. Gregg attended college at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where he graduated with a degree in Psychology. He met his future wife Alice there, and they were married May 3rd, 1980 in Tucson, Arizona. Gregg began his career in 1972 at Citizen Printing in Beaver Dam, where he spent 25 years and ultimately served as Director of Sales and Marketing. In 1997, he joined Action Printing in Fond du Lac, finishing his career there as President. He was admired for his leadership, dedication, and deep respect for the people he worked alongside. Gregg loved Broadway and treasured the many shows he attended with family in New York, Chicago, London, and locally. He was happiest near the water, swimming and snorkeling at Big Hills or Little Silver Lakes. He was a devoted Packers fan and golf enthusiast. Music was woven into the fabric of his life: he played piano, sang, whistled, and burst into song anywhere, anytime, without hesitation. His musical spirit was one of the first things people noticed about him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Prasch Davies, his father Dean, mother Dorothy, and brothers Rick, Dean, and Scott. Gregg is survived by his daughter Ann (Derek Olson) Davies; his son Joe (Liz) Davies; his brother, Tom (Kathy) Davies, as well as many extended family members and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. They will carry his laughter, kindness, and songs with them always.
Gregg’s legacy is one of joy, generosity, love, and his acceptance of all, free of judgement. His memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who knew him.
