Harland E. Palmer's Obituary
Harland E. Palmer, age 76, of Neenah, WI, formerly of Waupaca, WI, passed away with his family at his side on Wednesday, May 6th, 2015 at Bridgewood Nursing and Rehab. Center in Neenah. He was born in Waupaca on April 22, 1939, a son of the late Clarence and Frances (Wenzel) Palmer.
Harland worked in the transportation industry most of his life, working for Neenah Foundry, TranStar, Roehl and Chizek. He also had served on the Board for the WI Motor Carriers Association.
Survivors include his Daughters: Pamela (Andy) Willemsen, Menasha, WI; Julie (Peter) Kaul, Neenah, WI; Anne (Andy) Naylor, Madison, WI; Sons: Scott Palmer, Neenah, WI; Thom (Colleen) Palmer, Kenosha, WI; Michael Palmer, Menasha, WI; Grandchildren: Ashley Kaul; Courtney Kaul; Allyson Kaul; Zacharie Palmer; Landon Palmer; Jesse Willemsen; Nicole (Scott) Peik; Mallory Naylor; Kiersten Naylor; Great Grandchildren: Taylor, Quincey, Dexter & Emery; Sisters: Arlene Pionke; Mary Jane (Dennis) Hintz. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons - James Palmer and Paul Palmer, one brother - LaVerne Palmer and a brother-in-law - Bill Pionke.
Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Tuesday, May 12th, 2015, with Rev. Catherine Mode, officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
