A very special thank you to the loving staff members on the 5th Floor of Stordock Hall at the Veterans Home in King and to his 1942 classmates with whom he enjoyed many reunion breakfasts. Harlin never lost his love for flying and flew until health prevented him from doing so. He took special pride in his Cherokee Cub and his brotherhood of flying buddies. We have lost a wonderful father, grandfather, friend, and pilot. When once you have lasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been and there you will always long to return. Leonardo De Vinci Harlin has now returned. Funeral Service will be held at Holly Funeral Home, Waupaca, Wisconsin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3rd, with Reverend Dan Somers officiating.
