Harlynn Kloke's Obituary
Retired Army SFC Harlynn H. Kloke, age 76, of Rosholt, WI., passed away on Sunday, September 3rd, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Marshfield, WI., on March 27, 1930, a son of the late Henry and Helen (Bruesewitz) Kloke. Harlynn married Lorena L. Ertl on December 18, 1948 in Marshfield. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church Amherst, Wisconsin. Harlynn served in the 1st Airborne Ranger Infantry Company during the Korean War. He was awarded the Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal, and the United Nations Service Medal.. Survivors include his wife : Lorena Kloke, Rosholt, WI; 2 Sons: David Kloke, Grafton, WI; Allen (Bonnie) Kloke, Earleton, FL; 3 Daughters: Emily (Robert) Wundrock, Verona, WI; Jean (Mike) Behrendt, Custer, WI; Nadine (Tom) Seeley, Boise, ID; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepmother, Laura, and two brothers, Gordon and Ronald. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Amherst, WI. at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 9th, 2006, with Rev. Chris Schwanz, officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Bickel Cemetery, Town of Amherst, Portage Co., WI. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
