Harold Cousineau's Obituary
Harold A. Cousineau, age 79, of Plover, WI, formerly of Amherst, WI, passed away on Monday, March 12th, 2012 peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was born in Chicago, IL, on January 25, 1933, a son of the late Joseph and Frances (Budzbanowski) Cousineau. He married Rosemarie Obermeyer on May 25, 1957 in the Town of Lanark, Portage Co., WI. Harold was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a card carrying member of the Oath Keepers. Harold enjoyed tinkering with projects in his garage, storytelling, history and was a writer of short stories. He enjoyed walking in the woods around his home. But most important was his love for his family. Harold served in the Korean War as an Airman and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 19 years from Ore-Ida in 1996. Las Vegas, NV; Abraham Kofahi, Lexington, KY; Brett Schultz, Omaha, NE; Robin, Kirstie & Ariel Schultz, Stevens Point, WI; Zachary Wucki, Plover, WI; Brother: Robert (Barbara) Cousineau, Almond, WI; Sister: Marion (Quentin) Dzubin, Streamwood, IL; Brother: Edward Cousineau, Almond, WI; Sister-in-law: Patricia Cousineau, Elgin, IL; Sister: Marie (Dale) Barton, Summerfield, FL He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph. Funeral Services will be held at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst at 10 AM on Thursday, March 15th, 2012, with President David Siebert, officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Amherst. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 5 until 8 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, and on Thursday, from 9 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
