Harold Meyer's Obituary
Harold R. Meyer, age 86, of King, WI, formerly of Grand Marsh, WI, passed away Tuesday, November 1st, 2005 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born in Dorchester, Wisconsin on October 29, 1919, the son of Albert and Anna (Volp) Meyer. Harold was a veteran of the United States Army serving in WWII. He married Verna Marie Hilt on November 29, 1947 in Marshfield, WI. Harold is survived by Wife: Verna Meyer, Grand Marsh, WI; Children: Rita (Charles) Wruck, Wautoma, WI; Margie (William) Jowett, Friendship, WI; Nancy Knight, Friendship, WI; Norman (Doreen) Meyer, Easton, WI; David (Arlene) Meyer, Oxford, WI; Bernice (William) Gouza, Friendship, WI; Gerald Meyer, Grand Marsh, WI; Seventeen Grandchildren and Eight Great-Grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; Son: Ken; three sisters and one brother. A memorial service will be held 1:30 PM Friday, November 4, 2005 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home - Main Chapel in King, WI. Interment of cremains will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery Town of Farmington, Wisconsin. A memorial visitation will be held at the chapel on Friday from 12:30PM until the time of the service.
