Harriet Weinbacher's Obituary
Harriet Weinbacher, age 93 of Waupaca, WI, formerly of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21 , 2007 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. Harriet was born on September 7, 1913 in Oshkosh, the daughter of the late Alois and Barbara (Lercher) Weinbacher.
Harriet was a life long member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oshkosh and worked at Michael Rees Hospital in Chicago for many years before retiring in 1980. She and her sister, Martie moved to Waupaca in 2000. Harriet will always be remembered for her unconditional love of God, family and friends and for her kindness and her feisty spirit. Harriet is survived by her sister, Alice Baier of Waupaca, her adopted brother, Father James Vennix of Waupaca, a niece, Barb Baier of Oshkosh and her children, Matthew, Jenny and Heather Schoenrock; a nephew, William Baier of Highlands Ranch, CO and his daughters, Sarah and Courtney. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Florence & Martha Weinbacher. A Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 11 AM at Bethany Home Chapel with Father James Vennix, officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Oshkosh. Visitation will be on Thursday morning from 10 AM until the time of services at the chapel. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
