Harry Antonakis' Obituary
Harry M. Antonakis, age 81, of King, WI., formerly of Coloma, WI., passed away on Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 at Wisconsin Veterans Home-MacArthur Hall, King. He was born in Antigo, WI., on April 6, 1928, a son of the late Milton and Ella (Wilson) Antonakis. He married Eileen Page on September 16, 1950 in Antigo. She survives. Harry served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Survivors include his Wife: Eileen Antonakis, Coloma, WI; 4 Children: Vicki (John) Witt, Cudahy, WI; Christy Antonakis, Jermyn, PA; Gladys (Terry) Coe, Oshkosh, WI; William (Julie) Antonakis, Wisconsin Dells, WI; Sister: Jean Mihalakis; Sister-in-law: Bette Antonakis. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Milton Antonakis and a brother, Ken Antonakis. A Memorial Service will be held at the Wisconsin Veterans Home-Main Chapel, King, at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 8th, 2009, with Sister Cathy Wottreng officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King at a later date. Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the Wisconsin Veterans Home-Main Chapel in King. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
