HARRY R. OLKIEWICZ
WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN
FORMERLY OF ALMOND AND WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 93 passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital in Wild Rose, WI. He was born November 26, 1914 in the Town of Rose, Waushara Co., WI; son of Frank and Anna (Wishinski) Olkiewicz. On April 23, 1938, Harry married Helen F. O’Keefe in Almond, WI. She preceded him in death on October 4, 2000. Harry was the owner/operator of Harry’s Bar in Almond for many years. He retired from the food service department at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. He enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Harry is survived by:

Twelve Great-Grandchildren: Daniel (Meagan) Buehler, Megan Reetz, Brittany Reetz, Erich Koehler, Katherine Koehler, Kristofor (Robyn) Moore, Brandon (Ruth) Moore, Jared Brayton, Alyssa Brayton, Olivia Gerlach, Carson Gerlach, and Parker Gerlach.
Two Great-Great-Grandchildren: Felicity Moore and Devin Buehler
Grandson-in-law: David Moore Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna Olkiewicz; wife, Helen Olkiewicz; granddaughter, Vicki Moore; six brothers, John, Bruno, Joseph, Charles, Edward, and William Olkiewicz; and four sisters, Lillian Heft, Helen Mushinski, Stella Shields, and Cecelia Lutz. A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI. Father Paul Vanden Hogen will preside. A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Oasis following the lunch on Saturday.
