HARRY R. “BUCK” SOPER, JR.
NEW HOLSTEIN, WI (FORMERLY OF THE TWP. OF LANARK, PORTAGE CO, WI) Age 78 – died on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton, WI. He was born on May 7, 1928 in the Twp. of Lanark, Portage County, WI, a son of the late Harry and Eva L. (Wurtinger) Soper, Sr. Harry is survived by his sister: Dorothy (David) Nelson, Sr. of New Holstein, WI, and three brothers: Francis (Alice) Soper of Brownsville, TX, James Soper of Oshkosh, WI, and Richard (Julia) Soper of Amherst, WI. Harry had been a member of the former St. Patrick’s Catholic Church-Lanark. He had been employed with the Frito Lay Potato Company for many years. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church-Lanark on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM, with Father Dan Farley, officiating. Friends may call at the church on Monday morning from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Twp. of Lanark, Portage County, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
