Helen Flaig's Obituary
Helen M. Flaig, age 98, of King, WI, died Monday, November 14th, 2005 at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Stordock Hall in King, Wisconsin. She was born in Town of Linwood, Portage County, WI on June 6, 1907, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Zynda) Szmkowiak. Helen married John Flaig on October 28, 1925 in Mill Creek, WI. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1983. She is survived by Sisters: Jean (Francis) Hoppes, California; Theresa Connell, Iowa. Nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and friends further survive.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters. A Funeral Mass will be held 1:30 PM on Friday, November 18th, 2005 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home- Main Chapel with Father Paul Vanden Hogan officiating. Interment will be in Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in the Town of Farmington, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held on Friday at the Main Chapel from 12:30 PM until the time of the service. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements. www.hollyfuneralhome.com
