Helene M. Degele's Obituary
Helene M. Degele, age 86 of Waupaca formerly of Milwaukee, WI, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI.
She was born on October 21, 1934 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of Frederick and Hildegarde (Zitke) Berg. On May 21, 1994, she married Wallace Degele in Milwaukee, WI.
Helene worked for Weyenberg Shoes in Milwaukee as an office clerk until the time of her retirement. She enjoyed flowers and gardening.
She is survived by her brother, Edmund (Gwen) Berg of Waupaca and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, and husband, Wallace, she was preceded in death by her brother, Theodore Berg.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca, WI. Rev. Ron Siemers will officiate. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI on Tuesday, December 29th at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. Monday until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca.
