Herman Christian's Obituary
Herman C. Christian, age 93, of Waupaca, WI , passed away peacefully Monday, June 11, 2007 at Bethany Home. Hermie was born in Berwyn, Illinois on April 22, 1914, the son of the late Herman P. and Lillian (Meyer) Christian. On October 28, 1944 he married Ruth Banks in Berwyn, Il. Hermie is a member of the First Christian Church in Haines City, Florida. He worked for Abell-Howe Construction Co. of Forest Park, Il. for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife: Ruth Christian of Waupaca; his daughter: Ruth Ann Christian of Fremont, WI; a granddaughter: Lisa (Bob) Morse of Pasadena, CA and three great grandchildren: Stephen, Amanda & Kathryn Morse. Hermie is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a son, David E. Christian and two sisters, Marge and Laura. A Memorial Service will be on Weds. June 20 at 12 Noon at Fox River Christian Church, 3395 W. College Ave. in Appleton with Pastor Steve Shepard, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Bethany Home Bus Fund.
