Hubert Olson's Obituary
Hubert A. Olson, age 83, of Waupaca, WI., passed away on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He was born in Waupaca, on December 3, 1924, a son of the late Marion and Ethel (Heath) Olson. During his life, Hubert held many different jobs, some of which included being a pin setter at Uptown Bowling Alley, an accordian teacher and an eyeglass maker. Survivors include his children: Cynthia (Charles) Whitman, Waupaca, WI.; Anna Price; Mary Lynn Larsen; David Olson; Juliann Manion; Grandchildren: Lisa (Nick) Clemens, Lakewood, CO; Andrew Whitman, Waupaca, WI and 6 other grandchildren. Hubert is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Ruth LaFlex Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 11 AM on Saturday, March 15th, 2008, with Pastor Jeff Fletcher officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Amherst, WI.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th from 4 until 7 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Saturday, from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
