Hugh Shannon's Obituary
Hugh G. Shannon, age 71, of King, WI, passed away Thursday, October 27th, 2005 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born in Dunbar, Wisconsin on June 21, 1934, the son of Vernon and Veronica (Darinski) Shannon. Hugh married Jean Sales on December 30, 1961 in White Lake, WI. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by Wife: Jean Shannon, White Lake, WI; Children: Dan (Beth) Shannon, Geneva, IL; Heather (Rob) Baker, Three Lakes, WI; Tammy (Joe) Stegall, Bryant, WI; Eleven Grandchildren; One Great-Grandson; Brothers: Neil (Vi) Shannon, Washington; Andy Shannon, Neenah, WI; Sisters: Helen (George) Miller, White Lake, WI; Mary (Bob) Stone, Texas and Sharon (John) Krablean, Colorado. Hugh is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Daughter: Angela; Brothers: Jerry, James and John Shannon and a sister, Rosemary. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, October 31, 2005 at the Wisconsin Veteran Home - Main Chapel in King, WI. Sister Cathy Wottreng will officiate. Interment will be in Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Farmington, Waupaca County. A visitation will be held at the Main Chapel on Monday from 10:30 AM until the time of the sevice. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements. www.hollyfuneralhome.com
