IONE E. MALDARI
POY SIPPI, WISCONSIN
Age 96, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Patriot Place in Berlin, WI. She was born December 6, 1918 in Poy Sippi, WI; daughter of Ernest and Alice (Vincent) Vergin. On May 13, 1937, Ione married Joseph N. Maldari in Redgranite and together they shared 44 years of marriage before his passing on February 3, 1982. She worked for many years at Lambskin, a bed slipper manufacturing company. Ione was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Poy Sippi. She will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and friends.

Granddaughter: Teresa (Joseph) Arellano of Sacramento, CA
Two Daughters-in-law: Faye Maldari of Cleveland, OH
Connie Watanabe of Sacramento, CA
Sister: Maxine Leone of Poy Sippi, WI
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Alice Vergin; her husband, Joseph Maldari; a son, Vincent Maldari; three sisters, Audrey Selle, Norine Ziegenhagen, and Madeline Lewellyn; and one brother, Ronald Vergin.
A Funeral Service will be on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Poy Sippi United Methodist Church, W2256 Liberty Street, Poy Sippi, WI. Reverend Paul Brinkman will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at Poy Sippi Cemetery following the service on Friday. The Holly Funeral Home of Poy Sippi is assisting the family with arrangements.
