Ione A. Schroeder's Obituary
Ione A. Schroeder age 95 of Amherst Jct. WI, passed away at her residence on Monday July 18, 2022. Ione was born on August 28, 1926, the daughter of Joseph and Eleanor (Anholt) Utschig. Ione married the late Robert Schroeder on April 9, 1947. Ione was a member of the Lioness, Amherst Jct. Women's Club, she started the Babes program, she worked 30 years as a licensed cosmetologist and taught cosmetology for 20 years and after retirement she was a foster grandmother for the Tomorrow River School District reading to the younger children.
Ione is survived by her son Gerald (Barbara) Schroeder of Wauwatosa, WI; two grandchildren Chris (Jill) Schroeder and Todd Schroeder; three great grandchildren Jenna, Callie and Colton, many other family and friends.
Ione was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Eleanor Utschig; her husband Robert Schroeder; two sons Robert Schroeder and Ronald Schroeder and her two brothers Lawrence and Walter.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Ione's neighbor's Dave and Linda Dombrowski and Dana (Carrie) Strand and all of the caretakers that helped take good care of Ione.
