Irene C. Guthu age 85, passed away on Tuesday July 17, 2018. Irene was born on May 24, 1933. Irene married the late Eugene Guthu on April 7, 1951 in Waupaca.
Irene is survived by her children Diane (Bob Gabriel) Handrich of Waupaca, WI, Benjamin (Donna) Guthu of Scandinavia, WI and Pamela (Dale) Loken of Iola, WI; her grandchildren Troy (Heidi) Handrich, Tom Handrich, Trent (Sarah) Handrich, Kyle, Kayla and Jace Guthu; great grandchildren Bennett, Owen and Madelin Handrich, Carson and Eli Handrich, Holly and Rex Handrich and Kadin and Kyler Woiak; her sister Norma Moscotti; brother Edwin (Marlys) Akey, many other relatives and friends.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Eugene Guthu; her daughters Victoria and Beatrice; four brothers and two sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday July 20, 2018 at 11 A.M. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Father Xavier Santiago will officiate, with burial to follow at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday at the Holly funeral Home from 10 A.M. until the time of the service at 11 A.M.
