Irene Vander Heyden's Obituary
Irene F. Vander Heyden, age 100, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Amherst, passed away on Thursday, August 17th, 2006 at Porter Hospice @ Johnson Center, Centennial, Colorado. Irene was born in Amherst on April 6, 1906, a daughter of the late Otto and Petrea (Howen) Olson. She married Lawrence Joseph Vander Heyden on August 19, 1933. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence and a son, Donald. Graveside Services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Amherst at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 26th, with Reverends Dwight Anderson & Bill Kohlmeier officiating.
