Irma C. Bauer's Obituary
Irma C. Bauer, age 92, of the Town of Lanark passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at her residence under the care of hospice. Irma was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 28, 1920, the daughter of the late Leo and Irmina (Ulatoski) Rice. On April 11, 1940, Irma married George J. Bauer in Tazewell, West Virginia and he preceded her in death on October 6, 1995. She worked at the Wisconsin Veterans Home for many years in the Food/ Dietary Service Dept. She is a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Irma is survived by her sons, Gary Bauer, Almond and Alan (Jane) Bauer, Waupaca and her six grandchildren, Holly Bauer, Erin Bauer, Patrick Bauer, Emily Bauer, Michael Bauer & Jillian Bauer. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Olson, her step-mother, Helen Rice and an infant brother. A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, May 12 at 11 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in the Town of Buena Vista with Father Paul Vanden Hogan, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Lanark. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of mass at the church. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
