Isabelle B. Lawrence
Waupaca, WI (Formerly of Amherst, WI) Age 88 – died on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the Crystal River Nursing Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born on July 3, 1920 in the Township of Lanark, Portage County, WI, the daughter of Carl and Merle (Wilson) Schultz. She married William C. Lawrence on October 24, 1938 in the Township of Lanark, Portage County. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1985. She is survived by her son: William R. (Karen) Lawrence of Las Vegas, NV, her daughter; Margaret A. (Sanford) Cook of Madison, WI, a granddaughter, four great grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; William, a son; LaVerne Lawrence, her parents, and a brother; Roger Schultz. She had been a homemaker for most of her adult life. She had also been employed as a sales clerk for various businesses. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Amherst, WI. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Amherst, WI on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend John Schmidt, officiating. Interment will be in the Lower Amherst Cemetery near Amherst. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Memorials can be directed to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in the name of Isabelle B. Lawrence. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
