Isabelle Rowe's Obituary
Isabelle M. Rowe, age 93, of Ogdensburg, WI, passed away Sunday, February 15th, 2009 at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega, WI. She was born in Tigerton, WI on July 13, 1915, the daughter of Wilhelm and Selma (Hornig) Sabrowsky. Isabelle Married Julian Rowe on March 11, 1942 in Idaho. Upon her husband's discharge from the Army Air Corps in 1945, they settled in Appleton for the next 35 years. It was there that she became a licensed real estate salesperson and associated with her husband in their firm of Rowe Agency Realtors - Appraisers. Upon their retirement in 1980, they moved to the house they built in St. Lawrence Township, Waupaca County. They spent many happy years travelling to visit their children and grandchildren. They also travelled to Norway, Europe as well as many other destinations. In 2005 she was stricken with Alzheimers Disease and spent the remaining 3 years of her life at the Lakeview Manor under the loving, gentle, and wonderful care of the staff. She is survived by Husband: Julian Rowe, Ogdensburg, WI. Daughters: Jane (Robert) Endter, Charlestown, RI; Patricia (Paul) Geenen, Milwaukee, WI; Jenifer (James) Campo, El Dorado Hills, CA. Son: Steven (Mary Lee) Rowe, Ogdensburg, WI; Twelve Grandchildren; Twelve Great Grandchildren; Brother: Lester Sabrowsky, Warrenton, VA; Sisters: Delores Quimby, King, WI; and Marilyn Arneson, Appleton, WI. Isabelle is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. A memorial service will be held 1 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with Reverend Fred Lueders officiating. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the time of the service. Memorials would be appreciated to the Isabelle Rowe Nursing Scholarsdhip Fund, PO Box 425, Waupaca, WI 54981 or may be dropped off at the Holly Funeral Home. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family.
