Ivan Higginbotham, Sr.'s Obituary
IVAN L. HIGGINBOTHAM, SR.
WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN Age 79, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital in Wild Rose, WI. He was born June 23, 1932 in South Gifford, MO; son of Garnett and Esther (Lagle) Higginbotham. On April 26, 1974, Ivan married Donna J. Cartwright in Wautoma, WI. She preceded him in death on October 2, 2009. Ivan was well-known around Christmas time for dressing up as Santa Claus, where he visited a number of residential homes in the Wild Rose area. He also drove school bus in Wild Rose and was a driver for many years with the Department of Aging throughout Waushara County and the state. He will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends. Ivan is survived by:

Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garnett and Esther Higginbotham; his wife, Donna Higginbotham; four sons, Brian Higginbotham, Garnett Higginbotham, Ivan Higginbotham, Jr., and Ralph Langkau; and a great-grandson, Carlton Higginbotham. A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi, WI. Reverend David Sielaff will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be at Brushville Cemetery in the Town of Bloomfield following the service on Wednesday.
