J. Harold Newsome's Obituary
J. Harold Newsome, age 97, of Waupaca passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011 at Crystal River Nursing & Rehab. Center. Harold was born in the Town of Dayton, Waupaca County on July 3, 1914 the son of the late James Albert and Barbara (Suhs) Newsome. On June 22, 1946, Harold married Jean Radliff in Waterford, WI and she preceded him in death on March 24, 1997. Harold farmed in the Town of Dayton his entire life. He was a lifetime member of the Crystal Lake United Methodist Church. Harold is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and many friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean, a brother Howard Newsome, a sister Jennie Hamm, a half-brother Leslie Newsome and a half-sister Verna Newsome. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, October 4 at 11 AM at the Crystal Lake United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeffrey S. Fletcher and Reverend Barry Shaw, officiating. Burial will follow in the Crystal Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 9 AM until the time of services at the church.
