It is with deep sorrow and sincere condolences that we remember a very well knowledgeable friend and I (Nolan) have enjoyed the friendship of. We send our thoughts to all of whom that knew this kind and generous man, and mostly to Glenda who shared him with so many.
Our best goes out to her now,
Nolan and Carol Seewald
Dr. Rhodes was a very important man in my life. He gave me my start at Miami, mentored me and changed my life. We have lost a great man.
Sincerely,
Chris Connell
Jack was always a pleasure to spend time with, whether at the bridge table or dinner. He was the best of mankind.
A special man has been called home by God. In the 20 years that Jack and Glenda “retired” to Waupaca they have done more to enrich area communities than most accomplish in a lifetime. As a dear friend and duplicate bridge partner Jack was a joy and a treasure! His intellect, modesty, dignity and compassion for others, defined his life every day. My deepest sympathy to Glenda and Dr. Jack’s family, and to everyone who benefitted from Jack’s presence through 80 exceptional years of service to humankind.
