James A. Boelter, Sr.
Plymouth, WI (Formerly of Waupaca, WI)
Age 55 – died very unexpectedly on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at his residence. He was born on April 8, 1954 in Waupaca, WI, the son of Arlyn and Helen (Redmann) Boelter.
James is survived by his children; Corey (Jennifer) Boelter of Bryan, TX, Kristina Boelter of Waupaca, James Boelter, Jr of Waupaca, Jason Boelter of Waupaca, Heather Boelter of California, and Dylan Novak-Boelter of Stevens Point. He is further survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, a brother; Kieth (Edie) Boelter of Waupaca, and an aunt and uncle; Joan and Melvin Behm of Weyauwega. He was preceded in death by his parents.
James had been employed at De O’Malleys Pizza Pub in Plymouth. He had served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War. He enjoyed motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. He especially enjoyed the time he could spend with family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend John Schmidt, Wisconsin Veterans Home Chaplain, officiating. Interment will be in the Bickel Cemetery in Amherst, WI. A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Thursday evening from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, and again on Friday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in the name of James A. Boelter, Sr. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
