JAMES C. ENGEBRETSON
WILD ROSE, WI Age 71 – died on Monday, Aril 24, 2006 at the Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born on September 28, 1934 in Scandinavia, WI, a son of Jonas and Cora (Swenson) Engebretson. He married Patricia Colligan on November 28, 1953 in Waupaca, WI. James is survived by his wife: Patricia, three children: Cindi (Richard) Bricco of Clintonville, WI, Robin (Joyce) Engebretson of Minoqua, WI, and Lee Ann (David) Mientke of Wild Rose, WI, six grandchildren and five step-grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and five step-great grandchildren, his mother: Cora Engebretson of Weyauwega, WI, a sister: Kaye (Robert) Hoffman of New London, WI, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jonas Engebretson. James had been employed with the former Ferrellgas Company in Waupaca from 1967 – 1989, retiring as the company manager. Prior to that he had been employed with the Waupaca Foundry for 10 years, retiring as a plant manager. Since his retirement he operated a saw mill at his residence, and enjoyed doing many things with wood. He had been involved with a group of close friends that called themselves the Over the Hill Construction Crew. The group built Jim and Pat’s home from the ground up. He enjoyed camping and had built a wooden camping trailer that he and Pat took out west. He had also enjoyed deer hunting and had hunted until about 5 years ago. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI, with Mr. Jeff Fletcher, officiating. Interment will be in the Ravine (Lane) Cemetery near Wild Rose, WI. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
