James H. Kniebes' Obituary
James Kniebes, age 85 of Waupaca, WI passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at WI Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born on February 15, 1935, son of the late Elmer and Dolphine Kniebes in Waupaca. He joined the United States Marines and served during the Korean War. James married Margaret Boutwell on November 9, 1957 in Waupaca. He worked as a machine operator for 40 years at the Paper Mill in Menasha until his retirement in 1997. James and Margaret then moved back to Waupaca. James enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially time with his family. He was a caring, compassionate man. A wonderful husband and provider.
James is survived by his wife, Margaret Kniebes of Waupaca; daughters, Mary (Tony) Weber of Menasha, Darla Larsen of Neenah, Julie (Dale) Rassmusen of Neenah, Jennie (Cory) Peterson of Waupaca, Sara Skennandore of Neenah, also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
