JAMES K. LASURE
POY SIPPI, WISCONSIN Age 57, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at his home in Poy Sippi, WI. He was born June 20, 1953 in Berlin, WI; son of Kenneth and June (Snell) LaSure baptized into the body of Jesus Christ. On May 25, 1974, Jim married Charlene Henke at Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in Poy Sippi, WI. Jim worked at the Berlin School System for 11 years. He was a retired fireman of the Poy Sippi Volunteer Fire Department where he served for 33 years, and also was an EMT for the Waushara Co. EMS Department for 25 years. Jim was an active member of the Poy Sippi Community Betterment Program. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycles, and spending time with his family, especially his two little granddaughters. Jim was a member of Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod of Poy Sippi. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Jim is survived by:

Mother-in-law: Beverly Henke of Poy Sippi, WI
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Melvin and Pearl LaSure; maternal grandparents, Chester and Lois Snell; and father-in-law, Robert Henke. A Funeral Service will be on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi, WI. Reverend William Meier will officiate. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, Oct. 3, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Poy Sippi and also on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at Poy Sippi Cemetery following the service on Monday. We look forward to meeting again in the Resurrection of all flesh and the faithful.
