James Major's Obituary
JAMES L. MAJOR
WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN Age 85, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at his home after a lengthy illness from kidney failure. He was born June 3, 1927 in Marion, Waupaca Co., WI; son of Louis and Flora (Bower) Major. On March 29, 1952, James married Jean M. Flesch in Chicago, IL and they shared 61 years of marriage. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 – 1957 where he was honorably discharged. James was a Shriner out of Beja Templar and was a member of the Mascoutin Shrine Club, Winnebago Shrine Club, and the VFW. James will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends. James is survived by:

Son: James L. Major, Jr. of Cleveland Heights, OH
Grandchildren: James L. Major, V of Cleveland Heights, OH
Jordan B. Major of Cleveland Heights, OH
Brother: Eugene Major of Preston, MN
Sister: Carol (Leroy) Wedde of Marion, WI
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Flora Major, and a sister-in-law, Joyce Major. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Wild Rose United Methodist Church of Wild Rose, WI. Reverend James Rivers will officiate. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the church. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
