James P. Ponczoch's Obituary
James P. Ponczoch, age 71, of Waupaca, WI passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Appleton Medical Center. James was born in Rozelville, WI on April 19, 1938, the son of the late Charles and Rose (Schuller) Ponczoch. He served in the U.S. Navy. On May 20, 2006, James married Frances Gaines at the Wisconsin Veterans Home Main Chapel. James is survived by his wife: Frances Ponczoch, Waupaca, WI; his children: Jim (Gloria) Ponczoch, Palmyra, WI; Monte (Deb) Ponczoch, Jackson, WI; Matthew Ponczoch, St. Petersburg, FL; Russell Ponczoch, Germantown, WI; his step-children: Vicki Gaines, Waupaca, WI; Peggy Gaines, Waupaca, WI; Andrew Gaines, Waupaca, WI; 13 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren: his sisters: Mary Kelnhofer, West Milwaukee, WI; Ruth Lund, DePere, WI and his brothers: Clifford Ponczoch, Iowa; Charles Ponczoch, Stratford, WI. James is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be on Friday, March 26 at 1 PM at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Main Chapel, King with Father Paul Vanden Hogan, officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A memorial visitation will be on Friday from 12 to 1 PM at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Main Chapel. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
