James VanAirsdale's Obituary
James Jim P. VanAirsdale, age 78, of Waupaca, WI, formerly of Saxeville, WI, passed away Wednesday, June 14th, 2006 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. He was born in Saxeville, Wisconsin on July 27, 1927, the son of Howard and Blanche (Christian) VanAirsdale. James served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Milda Hallman on November 22, 1947 in Wild Rose, WI. James is survived by Wife: Milda VanAirsdale, Waupaca, WI; Daughters: Sharon (Joel) Parker, Portland, OR; Barbara VanAirsdale, Margate, FL; Granddaughter: Megan (Stefan) Larkin, Portland, OR; Grandson: Ian Darnell, Margate, FL; Great Grandson: Finease Larkin, Portland, OR; Sisters: Martha (Donald) Whitney, Menasha, WI; Sally Raugh, Saxeville, WI; Brothers-in-law: Clarence Bradley and Pastor Gary (Beverly) Hallman; Sister-in-law: Dorothy (Arthur) Schmidt. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. James was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother, Jerry; Sister, Betty; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Arthur and Lydia Hallman and a Brother-in-law, Gordon (Esther) Hallman. A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, June 26th, 2006 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Saxeville with Reverend Robert Hanson officiating. Interment will be in Saxeville Union Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 12 Noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to St. John's Lutheran Church.
