JANE KURDYDYK
STEVENS POINT, WI (FORMERLY OF AMHERST) Age 85 – died on Thursday, November 10, 2005 the Stevens Point Care Center. She was born on October 4, 1920 in the Ukraine, a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Deba) Jurynec. She married Mykola “Nick” Kurdydyk on June 24, 1944. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1990. Jane is survived by her son: Robert Kurdydyk of Chicago, IL, her daughter: Chris Wentworth and special friend Patrick Ellsworth of Buffalo Grove, IL, two grandchildren: Ashley and Samantha, and a brother: Julian Jurynec of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick, and a son: Walter Kurdydyk. Jane and Nick moved to Chicago, IL from the Ukraine following WW II. They moved to the Amherst area in the early 1970’s. Jane was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Amherst. She enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. She had also enjoyed doing ceramic work. A funeral mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, WI on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 11:00 AM, with Father Robert Pedretti, Celebrant. Interment will be in St. James Catholic Cemetery in Amherst. Friends may call at the church on Monday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Ministry Home Care Hospice at 2501 Main St., Stevens Point, WI 54481 in memory of Jane Kurdydyk. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
