Nana…
I truly loved all the time I got to spend with you. I have so many memories of being at your house, either for a family holiday get-together or “just because”. Gathering around the dining room table to play cards was always so much fun, even though things usually got a little heated. And if we weren’t playing cards, sitting around the living room to talk and catch up was just as enjoyable. I especially loved our shopping trips. A day to spend just you and me, shopping, having lunch, and shopping some more, was so special to me. I also have you to thank for my love of pickles and quick spaghetti.
I’m grateful for the time my family got to spend with you. Todd got to experience a little of what I knew my whole life - what it was like to have you as a grandma. Ellie and Ben got time with you and now have memories, pictures, and lots of books to remember their great-grandma by.
I feel so blessed to have had you as my grandma. I will always cherish the memories I have with you, and I will strive to be as caring a person as you were.
I love you, Nana.
