Janice J. Marr's Obituary
Janice J. Marr, age 87 of Plainfield, WI passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Ascension St. Michael Hospital in Stevens Point, WI.
She was born on February 10, 1934 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of Edwin and Marguerite (Martin) Kallies. On September 3, 1955, she married Douglas Marr in Almond, WI.
Janice was a church secretary for St. John Lutheran Church in Mequon, WI for many years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, singing in the church choir, baking pies and was a 4-H Leader.
She is survived by her children, Jo Anne (David) Gasperetti of West Bend, WI and David Marr of Amherst, WI; two grandchildren, David Gasperetti of Fond du Lac, WI and Mark (Roxanne) Gasperetti of Appleton, WI.
Besides her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Marr and a brother, Edmund “Guy” Kallies.
Funeral services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Almond, WI at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 with Reverend Kevin Ader officiating. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Almond, WI.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the church.
