JANICE G. NEWSOME
WAUPACA, WI Age 55 – passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born on October 19, 1949 in Shawano, WI, a daughter of Raymond and Agnes (Dabler) Michaelis. She married Lee Newsome on October 9, 1993 in Parfreyville, WI. Janice is survived by her husband: Lee, four children: Linnea Schultz (special friend: Joe) of Appleton, WI, David (Gladys) Schultz of Clintonville, WI, Steven (Angel) Schultz of Waupaca, WI, and Richard Schultz of Appleton, WI, seven grandchildren, her mother: Agnes Michaelis of Clintonville, WI, her mother-in-law: Ruth Newsome of Waupaca, WI, two step-children: Betty (Ken) Deeb of Ohio, and Lee Michael (Angela) Newsome of Scandinavia, WI, one step-grandchild, a sister: Luceinne (Tom) Smith of Clintonville, WI, a brother: Marlyn (Peggy) Michaelis of Tigerton, WI, and a sister-in-law: Nancy Michaelis of Tigerton, WI. She is further survived by other relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Michaelis, a sister: Mari Beth Michaelis, and two brothers: Duane and Loren Michaelis. Janice was a member of the Parfreyville United Methodist Church near Waupaca. She had been a certified nursing assistant at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI for 10 years, retiring in 1999. She enjoyed crocheting. She also enjoyed visiting with her friends and was always helping her friends when needed. A Funeral service will be held at the Parfreyville United Methodist Church in Parfreyville, WI on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Dong Su Lee, officiating. Interment will be in the Crystal Lake Cemetery, Township of Dayton, Waupaca County. Friends may call at the church in Parfreyville on Wednesday morning from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in the name of Janice G. Newsome. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI assisted the family with arrangements.
