Jean H. Bree's Obituary
Jean H. Bree, age 84, of Manawa, WI, passed away on Thursday, February 11th, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Norway, MI on December 5, 1931, a daughter of the late Henning and Mildred (Carlson) Granquist.
Jean moved to Chicago, IL in 1949 where she met and married William E. Bree. In 1981, after having and raising five children, they moved to Dale, WI and opened a tavern called Bree's Inn. In 1987, with the help of their son, William, they opened the Bree's Inn II in New London. In 1993 they opened the Bree's Inn III in Bear Creek. In 2001 they moved to Manawa and retired.
Jean is survived by her Children: William R. Bree, Bear Creek, WI; Cynthia (Pat) Riley, Royalton, WI; Robert (Michele) Bree, Manawa, WI; Michael Bree, Freedom, WI; 10 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William E. Bree, a daughter, Joyce (Bree) Litcher and her grandson, Michael Bree Jr.
