Jean C. Bestler-Luther's Obituary
Mrs. Jean C. Bestler-Luther, age 91, of Kaukauna, formerly of Waupaca, passed away Tuesday, March 13th, 2007 at the St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Mrs. Luther was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on April 20, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Hackl) Bestler. On July 29, 1977, she married Frank Luther. He preceded her in death on Sept 1, 1993. Jean graduated from the School of Nursing at Marquette University in 1937. She worked as a nurse for over 42 years at several hospitals in the Fox Valley and served as the Appleton City Nurse for many years. She retired from the Wisconsin Veterans Home-King in the late 70's. Jean is survived by Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by two Brothers and four sisters. Funeral Mass will be held at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Main Chapel, King, Wisconsin at 11 A.M. on Friday, March 16th, with Father Paul Vanden Hogen & Father Joseph Bestler (Nephew) officiating. Interment will be in the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery Town of Farmington, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10-11 A.M. at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Main Chapel. A.J.
