Jean E. Boelter's Obituary
Jean E. Boelter, age 91, of Plover formerly of Almond passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Maple Ridge Memory Care in Plover. Jean was born in Almond on September 22, 1921, the daughter of the late Raymond and Opal (Bennett) O'Keefe. On October 31, 1942, Jean married Raymond Boelter in Almond and he preceded her in death on September 9, 2001. She cooked at the Almond-Bancroft School System for many years. She is survived by her daughter: Mary Kay (Joseph) Helbach, Stevens Point; her son: Richard Boelter, Almond; her granddaughter Julie Boelter, Madison and her sister: Katherine Lea, Plover. Jean was also preceded in death by three brothers, Neal, Dale & Ray and two sisters, Myrna and Helen. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 11 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Almond with Reverend Brian Roehrborn, officiating. Interment will be in the Almond Village Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Heartland Hospice. Jean's family wishes to thank the entire staff at Maple Ridge Memory Care for the wonderful care given to their mother.
