A stalwart of our community has gone to her eternal reward. Jeanette was an amazing woman of strength, compassion, grace and prayer. Her life was one of hard work in farming with her birth family and later with her husband, Leonard, and their children. She did not stand still very long....always working very hard for her family and their farm. First as dairy farmers and then as vegetable, especially potato, growers. Until this year she was right with everyone else helping out until the potato harvest was completed. In addition, Jeanette's extended family was very important to her. Aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, in-laws, nieces, nephews and dozens of cousins. She always stayed in touch and knew what was going on with everyone and lifted them up with her prayers and her positive spirit. She further always reached out to all her neighbors and friends.. All knew Jeanette and her works. And she remembered everyone in her constant prayer life. She was a strong person of faith and certainly lived her life as Jesus advised we do. Through many difficult times she remained faithful to God and all his people. If anyone was wonderfully prepared to meet our Maker, I trust Jeanette was. May God grant her eternal life. She will certainly will be missed down here.....but always loved and remembered.
