JEANETTE E. SUHS
WAUAPCA, WI Age 81 – died on Monday, May 14, 2007 at the Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. She was born on June 3, 1925 in the Township of Lind, Waupaca County, WI, a daughter of the late Alex and Elise (Mundinger) Arndt. She married Clayton Suhs on May 4, 1946 in the Township of Lind, Waupaca County, WI. Jeanette is survived by her husband: Clayton, two sons: Stephen (Judy) Suhs of Waupaca, and Timothy (Joni) Suhs of Waupaca, five grandchildren: Christopher Suhs of Virginia Beach, VA, John Suhs of Madison, Timothy Suhs of El Cajon, CA, Todd Suhs of Waupaca, and Tori Suhs of Waupaca, a sister: Carol (Mike) Fletcher of Waupaca, and a sister-in-law: Lavon Arndt of Cresco, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Evelyn (Alvin) Nelsen and Rose (Vilas) Siedenkranz, and a brother: Donald Arndt. Jeanette was an active member of the Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church of Waupaca. She had a deep faith in her church, serving as a Sunday school teacher, singing with the church choir, and serving with the Ladies Aide. She loved working in her flower garden. She also enjoyed painting, ceramic work, and reading. She had been employed for a number of years with Wisconsin Bell Telephone and also at the Fletcher Jewelry Store in Waupaca. She sadly missed her dog, Toby in her later years. She always had a smile, even in difficult times. Jeanette always loved being with her family and grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at the Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Waupaca on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Jeffrey Holtan, officiating. Interment will be in the Crystal Lake Cemetery, Township of Dayton, Waupaca County, WI. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, and at the church on Friday, one hour prior to the time of the funeral. A memorial has been established in the name of Jeanette E. Suhs. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
