I'm sorry for your lose. Jeff and i were hired on the same day at the Oshkosh Police Department.We went to rookie school together and worked together. I will always remember Jeff asking a question in school. He became famous for the question [what if] of the instructors. He was always a good guy and was helpful to people.
I have fond memories of our friendship many years ago. You always expected the unexpected with Jeff. I am happy to have known him and express my sorrow to his family. There will never be another Jeff Richards. Dave Volk class of '63'.
Erik, Leif and Julia: I am sure you don't remember me, I was a college kid living in your house on Mt Vernon when you were very little. Your dad was a kind man who opened his home to a troubled kid who couldn't have gone to college without that support. I enjoyed babysitting and playing with you kids as babies.
