Jennifer Britton Hintz's Obituary
Mother, Grandmother, Mother-in-law, Sister, Aunt, Friend, Jenny Hintz, 76 of Amherst, Wisconsin, entered Heaven on February 5, 2023. She joined her Heavenly Father, husband Dave, and her friends and family.
Jenny was born on November 4, 1946 in Stevens Point, WI to Claude and Mildred Britton. She graduated from Amherst High School in 1964, after that she attended UW-Oshkosh, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She married the love of her life, Dave Hintz, in 1969.
Jenny touched the lives of many people with her sense of humor and love for the Lord, she loved spending time with family and friends, and had a very busy social calendar that included church, lunches, dinners, book clubs, and numerous bible studies. She also loved music and singing.
Jenny is survived by her daughter Nicole (Steve) Shulfer, of Middleton, WI; grandchildren, Bailey, Peyton, and Tyson Shulfer of Middleton, WI; daughter Heather (Brad) Darnell of Wauwatosa, WI; grandchildren, Brady and Carson Darnell, of Wauwatosa, WI; a sister, Claudia Schildhoth; a niece, Jenni Norton. She is also survived by many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dave Hintz, and her parents.
Jenny’s funeral will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 12:30 PM at The Lakes Church in Waupaca, WI, Moses Robbins will be officiating. The visitation will be at the church from 10:30 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst, WI.
The family would like to thank her friends, neighbors, and family for their constant love, care, and support. The Amherst community as a whole, gave so endlessly and generously of themselves. This allowed her to remain in her home, which was so important to her, everyone has been a huge blessing to us all, and we will never be able to thank you all enough.
