Jerome Anderson's Obituary
Jerome Elwood Anderson passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at the WI Veterans Home in King, WI. Jerome was born on November 9, 1917 in Brigham Township, Iowa County, WI. son of Milo Anderson and Lillie Arneson. Jerome was a WWII Army Veteran, honorably discharged receiving the Purple Heart in 1945. After his military service he moved to Gridley, CA where he was married to Eldora D. Miller until her death in 1992. He worked as a farmer and general laborer for the CA Canners & Growers Association, he served as chaplain and vice commander for his local American Legion Post No. 210 and was an active member in his church and local American Heart Association. Jerome (Bud) is survived by his son, two sisters as well as numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. The family of Jerome would like to thank the staff at Ainsworth Hall and long time friend Thelma Cain for their continued care and kindness to Jerry. Deb DeNure, Jerome’s grand-niece and caretaker invite you to celebrate Bud’s life on Friday, April 7, 2006 in Ainsworth Hall Chapel 800 Mitchell Ave, King, WI 54946. Holly Funeral Home, Waupaca WI (715-258-4020) will be coordinating the visitation that which will begin at 12:30, with a memorial service to follow.
