Joan M. McIntyre's Obituary
Joan M. McIntyre, age 63, of Waupaca, WI passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca. Joan was born in Waupaca on May 31, 1955, the daughter of John "Jack" and Nancy (Axtell) Anderson. She graduated from UW-Madison with a BS degree in Occupational Therapy and was working in the Wautoma School District. On November 16, 1985, Joan married Stuart McIntyre in Madison. She is survived by her husband: Stuart McIntyre, Waupaca; her mother: Nancy Anderson, Waupaca; a daughter: Heather (Jim) Heuer, Neenah; grandchildren: Tony & Madison and her siblings: Jean Anderson, Tustin; Julie Anderson, King; John (Bonnie) Anderson, Waupaca; Jill Gill, Waupaca; James "Max" (Ginger Johnson) Anderson, Waupaca; Joel "Carl" (Barb) Anderson, Waupaca and Jeni Anderson, Waupaca. Also surviving are many nieces & nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her father, John "Jack" Anderson, a brother, Jerold "Monkey" Anderson, a niece, Ashley and a brother in law, Dan Gill. Family & friends will gather for a Celebration of Joan's Life on Saturday, May 18 at 2 PM at the Cedar Lake School House. Burial will be in the Cedar Lake Cemetery, Town of Lind with Pastor Jeff Fletcher officiating on Saturday at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Joan's name. Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
